Beijing will add Red Eye high-speed rail
On July 1st, X, the director of Taiwan's Tourism Bureau, revealed in Taipei that in the first half of this year, the number of individual tourists from mainland China to Taiwan exceeded 500000, close to last year's 520000, and is expected to exceed 1 million for the entire year. Starting from mid April, Taiwan's entry and exit management department has raised the daily quota for individual mainland tourists visiting Taiwan from 3000 to 4000. Xie Jiejun said at the "Shanghai Promotion of Taiwan Tribal Deep Tour" conference that he believes that with more mainland tourists deeply exploring Taiwan, tribal tourism will definitely become the best choice for individual mainland tourists. The visiting delegation of the Shanghai Tourism Industry Association shared their feelings about the 7-day trip to Taiwan's ethnic minority tribes at the meeting and announced that they will work together to promote mainland tourists to visit Taiwan's ethnic minority tribal areas in depth. The head of the visiting delegation and the director of the Tourism Market Management Department of the Shanghai Tourism Bureau introduced that starting from June 26th, 16 Shanghai tourism operators, including Shanghai China Travel Service, Strait China Travel Service, Shanghai Youth Travel Service, and Shanghai Airlines China Travel Service, visited the mountains and rivers on the east coast of Taiwan, focusing on visiting tribal attractions in Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung, including Shuilian, Sanzhan, Qimei, Jingpu, Bixili An, Duli, and Bulao tribes. Taiwan's ethnic minority representative, Gao Jinsu Mei, said that one cannot truly travel throughout Taiwan without visiting the tribal areas. She hopes that more mainland tourists can come to the tribal areas to experience a different Taiwan. Many tribal representatives expressed that tribes are small and beautiful, so more exquisite, deep, and high-end tourists are needed to truly appreciate the beauty of tribes. Several Shanghai tourism industry participants expressed that although the trip was short, they had already felt the warmth and sincerity of Taiwan's ethnic minorities and the exquisite and thoughtful service. They will develop corresponding tourism products as soon as possible, organize mainland tourists to enter the tribal "homeland", and experience the good mountains and water.
